Resolved:

Anyone who intentionally starts climbing a mountain in the middle of winter for "recreation" shall be required to sign a form prior to starting their climb stating that either a) they will pay for any rescue efforts made of their behalf, or b) they waive all rescue efforts.

I grew up not far from Hood. It was my centerpiece in our picture window growing up. I visited her often, but NEVER outside the ski boundaries during the winter. Any fool that intentionally goes up that maountain or any mountain of that stature during the winter deserves to succumb to harsh endings. I can't count the number of people that have lost their lives attempting this ridiculous sport during the winter. NUTS!!!!!

It is bad enough that they would try that in the winter, but they should be charged with animal cruelty for taking a dog with them.
