A Day To Honor Veterans
Today, on the 11th day of the 11th month, we take time to honor the Veterans of our Armed Forces.
To all my fellow Veterans, thank you for your service.
Keeping the blogosphere posted on the goings on of the world of submarines since late 2004... and mocking and belittling general foolishness wherever it may be found. Idaho's first and foremost submarine blog. (If you don't like something on this blog, please E-mail me; don't call me at home.)

I would like to personally thank you Joel and each and every one who have served our country. This sacrifice really hit home a couple weeks ago when I was priviledged to see my son Nick graduate Navy bootcamp. He has joined the ranks of those of us that have sacrificed for our way of life.

From Teddy Roosevelt:
"Criticism is necessary and useful; it is often indispensable; but it can never take the place of action, or be even a poor substitute for it. The function of the mere critic is of very subordinate usefulness. It is the doer of deeds who actually counts in the battle for life, and not the man who looks on and says how the fight ought to be fought, without himself sharing the stress and the danger."
Humbly proud to be a veteran.

My two cents on Veterans Day...it had to be said - she deserved every word.
