That is a great pic! I had to go to Navsource to view it better and see that he did indeed have a safety harness on, but does not appear to have a life jacket. I know he is a diver and he can swim, but if the harness lets go,it's down into the prop wash for him.

BH, possibly the best unclass' photo I have seen (you hit a home run)! Submarines -always silent and strange.
