What I'm Reading
10 Comments:
I've got two sets. One with my car key, car remote, and grocery club tags (4). The second has my house keys for my apartment and my parents house, mailbox key and padlock key, with an EAB plug to hold them all together. That way, I can just drop the housekeys into my cupholder and use only what I need...

This goes right up there with rear view mirrors. You can always spot a female owned vehicle by the pound of crap hanging off the rear view mirror. Too funny!

I saw 2.

My key ring is like yours, with a few keys and a dogtag, but I've also added a USB drive. I keep my truck key separate so that nothing is dangling when I drive.
I'm bummed out though because I my EAB cap broke after about 16 years of use as a key chain. Anyone know where I can get another one?

I am a female, and I have one key, one remote and one "key chain" and that is all on my key ring. I don't even carry my DH's cary key, nor a house key on my key ring. My rear view mirror has NOTHING hanging from it.
Where do you people come up with these sexist ideas? :-)

You can order those EAB covers and a shortimer's chain from submarinestore.com

Look on the website under "executive pocket accessories"

I see two (2) items that will actually open or start something. the rest, key bling. My better half has this annoying reindeer bell on her's. Driving down the road ringing merrily along...
I keep it to keys and garage remote.

Sagey,
It's not a sexist thing. It's a practical issue. Most men carry their keys in their front pocket. They don't need or want the additional bulge that a bunch of key stuff would create.
Women, on the other hand, mostly carry their keys in purses. Since women carry their entire existance inside their Louis Vuittons, they need a bunch of extra crap hooked to the key chain in order to minimize the search.

Ahh yes, I forgot I am not a typical woman. I actually usually carry my keys in my pocket too since I hate carrying a purse as it always falls off my shoulder! :-) Though I have finally found a great Vera Bradley purse that stays on, but I still don't put my keys in it. :-)
