I heard Walt Minnick was among those opting for a phone in town hall meeting. Is he that apprehensive about seeing his constituents?

I hadn't heard that. I am intrigued how the Left doesn't like the current round of protesters, while they seemed to have no problems with similar tactics during the Social Security reform town hall meetings in 2005 and the continuing tactics of groups like Code Pink during the Bush Administration.
