BRAC Commissioners in Groton

Several members of the BRAC Commission are in Groton today after arriving yesterday; highlights for today should include a presentation to the commissioners by the local Subase Realignment Coalition and the lining of Rte.12 with base supporters as the commissioners drive by on their way to the airport.
While I originally thought that Groton couldn't do much to save the base, I'm now starting to think that they'll be able to pull together the 5 (of 9) commissioner's votes needed to get pulled from the list. Portsmouth is still gone, though... the Sub Force has to give up at least one "base".
