Army-Navy Game
Now, I'm not an Academy grad, but I've always liked watching the Army-Navy game... it's kinda what college football should be about. (Plus, since the academies have small but smart linemen, they run the option a lot, which I really like.)
Ron Martini found a short 30 second film put out by the Sub Force for the game tomorrow (in the same post from which I got the logo above). It didn't take too long to download by cable modem, but it'll probably be pretty hard on my dial-up readers.
Going deep...

Did you know that if you re-arrange the letters in "Go Army Beat Navy", you get: "Go Navy Beat Army"? You also get "Grab Meaty Van, Yo", but I'm not sure what that means...

Damn, it's too bad that didn't surface earlier as Army had a ton of spots made from their forces in Iraq and Afghanistan, while Navy only had one or two. Of course the midshipman spirit spots completely destroyed the cadet spirit spots as per usual...
42-23: go Navy!

Cartoons must count, the 'Army (football team) of One' has fallen victim to the well-contrived submarine animation. Thanks for sharing!

Strangely the Black Knight is the nickname of an RAN Sub.
