Favorite Sci-Fi Western
Just finished watching Serenity, which I got on DVD as a Christmas present. Even on the second viewing, I still think it's the best sci-fi movie I've ever seen. Mostly because of the acting and the story, and not at all because of the physical attributes of some of the stars.

LOL, I was suprised by the movie actually. I thought it was a B movie and found that it is a keeper. It reminds me of the sci'fi channel movies, but much better directing, haha....
Now to get back to Battlestar Galactica....they released season 2 and I'm a BG whore, LOL.
Merry Christmas my friend,

Physical attributes are even better in a good movie, like the icing on the cake. It sounds like Serentity will have a long run as a boat movie.

Good eye, Skippy! The girl on the left is the ship's Engineer... doubly hot... (since everyone knows that a ship's Eng just oozes sex appeal by definition).

Caught the DVD of the series thanks to Bittorrent, watched Serenity on opening now, now the DVD has a special place on my shelf.
Great writing, great acting. Too bad it underperformed at the box office, dooming any further development.
What the other poster said about BSG... Yeehaw! Love the new series. Aircraft carrier in space, and they seem to get the mood and a lot of terminology right. Did you see the end of the episode where the reporter covered the day-to-day goings on at the Galactica? Good job, and it touched a nerve with the here-and-now

Skippy,
You would be the best liberty buddy around; we have totally different tastes in women. Second from the left, no question - hands down. Well, best not to talk about hands...

Four hot babes for sure. That Kaylee has a great girl-next-door smile.
Mrs. Geezer got me the DVD Firefly series. Only watched episode one but I can tell it's gonna be great.
I gotta link this.
