USS Jefferson City Sailors at Sea World

These little PR stunts that boats occasionally have to do are usually a pain in the butt. The crew of USS Jefferson City (SSN 759), based in San Diego, helped christen a new submarine-themed Sea World attraction, and had to stand around in their dress blues. Some of these events are OK though; for instance, when USS Pasadena (SSN 752) was stationed in San Diego, the junior officers got to go up to the Rose Parade every year to escort the Rose Princesses.
