He Are A Nuke... He Done Good

Fellow sub-blogger WillyShake hit the big time today with this post on University of Pennsylvania professor Franscisco Gil-White. Not only did he post a well-written, informative and insightful analysis about an important topic (the type of post normally not seen on this blog), he was also linked by Michelle Malkin, one of the Higher Beings of the blogosphere. On the day that my visit total will probably cross the 10,000 mark, WillyShake will likely be blowing by me while still in his first month of blogging -- as well he should. I knew I should have paid attention in the non-science classes in school!

Update 1751 11 Feb: After posting about the Jordan Eason resignation, I checked my referrer log, and noticed that I had indeed gone over 10,000 visits (as well as 27,000 page views). Thank you, visitor from redshift.net who had 2 pages views over the course of a 4 second visit at 4:42:53 PST!

Bubblehead: LOL. Thanks for the nod; I won't lie and say it doesn't feel good to get noticed, but I will say this: I'm gonna pull you and Bothenook up with me if I can help it! So look for me to post links to your sites today while all these strangers are roaming my site!

And I appreciate you compliment about my even-handedness. Do not, though, that I link to a piece written by Jonah Goldberg that trashes people who fetishize neutrality and being independent. Like you (I think) I'd much rather have a principled thinker over someone who refuses to take a stand. As for this U. of Penn professor--well, quite honestly I don't know what to think. I think he's kinda nutty...my primary piece of evidence for that? He teaches Psychology! :) --Will

WillyShake -- No problem; I'm already getting some spillover traffic from your Malki-lanche. I agree that being principled, in a consistent way, is what draws me to any commenter on current events. Someone who complains that their group is being suppressed, while simultaneously trying to suppress others, doesn't impress me. (Not that any non-governmental organization or person can suppress others, of course, unless they steal their only computer and library card.)
