Boomer Sailors and Tomahawk Missiles

Looks like the Trident Base in King's Bay is getting a new Missile Training Center, but for a strange kind of missile -- the Tomahawk. It got me to thinking; will the crews of the four SSGNs really be boomer Sailors? They'll have two crews, but they won't necessarily run away from everyone -- will we have to come up with some new name for them? Any ideas?

Joel, how about Boom-lets. Sort of like how Cluster Bomblets are the smaller version of a single BIG Bomb or thermonuclear !BOOM! if you would. -LL

I'm partial to "Kamehameha" but "James K. Polk" would do fine too. Remember, we've done something a bit like this before.

Based on previous tradition and practice I don't expect the names of the ships to change.

The commodore of one of the squadrons has extensive "boomer within a thousand yards of shore" experience, since he took Kam to some tight spots and back with great success. He's a good pick.

Chap got me there... I didn't specify that the "name" to think about changing was "boomer"...
