USS Boise Deployment Videos

Someone (probably the Chop, based on the name of the "production" company) who served on USS Boise (SSN 764) earlier in the Naughties posted a video on YouTube with video clips and pictures from Boise's 2002 deployment. Here it is:

He also posted a video with pictures from the boat's 2003 deployment; it looks like he didn't have a video camera for that one. Anyway, they're both worth a look (especially if you're a Boise guy).

Since I recognize two of the officers from my SOAC class I'd place the video between early 2002 and 2004...
Gotta love the Suez scenery.

Noted the rotating radar mast in the first few seconds of the video. Reminded me of the lookout trick of paying attention to the radar. If it would stop -- and "paint" -- in a certain direction, the lookout would seriously search in that direction to try to "call" the contact before the radar guy did!

When I watch these things I look for faces I Know. None. They're all too young. Even the spaces barely look familiar. Course I was on the unique ssn 719.
