Sub Report Looking For Field Reporters
It looks like The Sub Report is looking for field reporters. It looks like it might be fun for anyone who's ever thought "I wonder if I could be a writer" and is interested in submarines.
Going deep...
Keeping the blogosphere posted on the goings on of the world of submarines since late 2004... and mocking and belittling general foolishness wherever it may be found. Idaho's first and foremost submarine blog. (If you don't like something on this blog, please E-mail me; don't call me at home.)

I'm Joel Kennedy -- a married, 49 year old retired submarine officer and esophageal cancer survivor with three kids who has finally made the transition to civilian life. Politically, I'm a moderate realist. In Idaho, that makes me a Democrat. (If you don't like something on this blog, please E-mail me. Don't call me at home.)

Headline: Submarines Missing in Seattle Area, Many Express Serious Concern
"Today at 5:00 pm, this reporter looked out her apartment window and saw that their were NO submarines visible in the immediate area.
"Is this because, as the Secretary of the Navy's spokesman argues, that this reporter lives in a metropolitan area over a mile from salt water, and that no submarine could "fit" in the Ballard Locks? Or because it's the end of the day, and the Secretary of the Navy wishes to avoid close scrutiny in the 24-hour news cycle."
