"The Frinch"
[Intel Source: Mudville Gazette's Open Post] Point Five gives their take on the French riots in Seussian verse. The climax:
"And the Frinch, with their frinch-feet ice-cold in the night
Stood puzzling and puzzling: “Now this isn’t right!
It came without warning! It came without commissions!
It came without studies! Or proper permissions!”
And they puzzled three hours, ’till their puzzlers were sore
And then all the Frinch thought of something they hadn’t before.
“Maybe something,” they thought, “can connect us together.
Maybe something… perhaps… we hate more than each ether!”
And then what happened? Well, in Youth-ville they say,
That the Frinch’s small hearts shrunk three sizes that day.
And they looked at the “Youths” as a path one can choose.
And they said, “Why burn us? When we both hate… the Jooos.”
Now there's a roast beast all good Frenchmen can get behind...
